Cricket has now become the most famous game in the world. 21st century was the real beginning where cricket became popular and started to spread throughout the world. Cricket has three formats that include Test cricket which is a very unique 5 day format that tests skill, stamina, mental strength, physical strength and patience, ODI that showcases abilities of players with the bat and the ball, T20 that is most loved as it is very short format of game but for me every format has its own reputation and enjoyment. Cricket is going through a sea of changes and there had been a lot of talk lately that test cricket and 50 over format of cricket is dying, and needs to be killed off, well i will definitely disagree with that, all three formats has to stay in cricket because every format has its own class.
Modern era of cricket :
Hate it or love it, the shortest form of the game is here to stay and it is the most likely form of the game that will take the world by storm. The most exciting part of a 50-over ODI match is the first ten overs and the last ten. What Twenty20 cricket did was take these two periods and gel them together seamlessly. What do you get? More runs, sixes, wickets, excitement and it also gives "weaker" teams a better chance which results in less predictive matches. Twenty20 is definitely taking the game to new heights, and looks to be the brightest future for cricket no doubt about it. The modern era of cricket has produced sensation names like Sachin Tendulkar, Brain Lara, Mathew Hayden, Adam Gilchrist, Inzamam-Ul-Haq, Sanath Jayasuria, Glenn Mcgrath, Shoaib Akhtar, Brett lee, Shane Warne, Murlitharan, Ricky Ponting and many more, if i forgot someone's name i am not disrespecting anyone they all have huge respects and fan following.

When we talk about modern cricket we will definitely not ignore the Die hard fans that are crazy about the cricket, to them cricket is every thing its their passion and its in their blood. The billion plus fan-base in India and Pakistan cannot be ignored. Where there is passion for the game- the game that can only get better.
Modern Styles and strategies :
A new style in batting has been adopted by most of the batsmen in cricket that is called aggressive batting. Batting aggressively is very fascinating both for the batsman and the spectators. Ripping those bowlers apart is sure a good way to have fun. So get yourself all geared up to become a bowler's greatest nightmare!!!
Aggressive batting is not just about tearing the ball apart infact playing aggressively means play with straight bat do not Dot much balls and take singles and doubles and when you get the bad ball punish it and put it into the stands.
Well, you would be thinking that is there nothing for bowlers in modern styles and strategies? how can a positive and aggressive attitude of a batsmen can help a bowler?
well the answer is that bowler cant do any thing with a good aggressive quality of a batsmen but he can figure out the weaknesses of the batsmen and can bowl him on perfect channels this would be a positive and aggressive attitude of a bowler, cricket is all about hard work and learning from your weaknesses.
